Summary: This overview is a specialized table of contents to assist review of database materials for lesson planning. In outreach to local high schools, USC student volunteers in the Teaching International Relations Program (TIRP) are equipped to teach analytical tools using cases and activities for decision-making and problem-solving. Because the database serves a variety of projects, custom tags will select limited collections designated for TIRP topics. Guides for selected items will point to further database resources.

Summary: This is Phase 2 of the simulation: Goldfish Communities: an environmental research study. This second phase sets up an analogy for students between their Goldfish Community and the real world. Includes a 4W frame to guide an illustration of dynamics between factors. As students consider choices they have when establishing policies, they can better understand and evaluate trade-offs and moral reasoning that others have used or are using today in decision-making. Several real-life applications are suggested, but policy questions can be taken in any direction, especially relating to globalization and human security.
